蝙蝠俠:開戰時刻Batman Begins
KnightSaga is the informal name given to a major Batman story arc published by DC Comics that dominated Batman-related comics from 1993 to 1994. KnightSaga consisted of three parts which were given official names: Knightfall, Knightquest, and KnightsEnd.
The Knightfall saga started when a new supervillain, named Bane, freed all the maximum security inmates of Arkham Asylum. His plan was to weaken Batman by making him deal with the most deadly villains one after the other to wear him down. His plan succeeded, and Bane confronted Batman and managed to break his back. After that, Bane assumed control of Gotham City. Bruce Wayne let Jean-Paul Valley take up the mantle of the Bat in order for Gotham to be protected from evil. Jean-Paul accepted the role, but soon became more violent and exhibited "supervillian" tendencies. Unlike his predecesor, Valley would sacrifice lives in order to achieve his goals. He defeated Bane, and created a new costume to show that he really was the new Batman and not just a "pretender", as Bane had called him. When he continued his career as the Caped Crusader, he got increasingly unstable. It was up to Tim Drake, the new Robin, and Dick Grayson, now Nightwing, to try and keep Valley under control while Bruce Wayne retrained himself in order to reclaim the mantle.

Knightfall is a gripping novel of the fall of Batman by Bane, the newest criminal to hit Gotham's streets. With Batman broken, Bruce Wayne chooses Jean Paul Valley, A.K.A. Azrael, to become the the new dark knight. But the new Batman's ways of dealing with crime are too Harsh and are giving Batman's name a Bad rap. After defeating Bane, Batman kills two people and Bruce Decideds the he has made the wrong decision. After being healed by Dr. Shondra Kinsolving with her psyoinic healing power, Bruce makes his way back up to reclaiming the mantel of the Bat. When Bruce first became Batman he vowed to fight crime without taking another man's life. So now to take back his name, Bruce must defeat the man who defeated Bane. Once I started to read this book I couldn't put it down! I suggest this book to any age group and you should read it even if you aren't a batman fan! You should also read the Graphic novels Kightfall:Broken Bat and Kightfall:Who Rules the Night.
